Meet the Owner of Cutting Edge Graphics LLC in Gatesville, Texas...

Thank you for visiting our website. A little about the founder of Cutting Edge Graphics LLC and Hoof Haven Sanctuary 501c3. My name is Jason and I was born in the Pacific Northwest. I enjoy hunting, fishing, & camping. When I was 19 I joined the Army as an Infantryman and my first duty station was in Schweinfurt, Germany followed by a second duty station at Ft. Carson, Colorado. I married the love of my life and started a family in 1991 and have been married since with three children. I would have had a third duty station in Korea for a year but my wife was diagnosed with cancer and my unit at the time the Army offered me separation from the service to deal with our family emergency. In 1997 I worked around the Portland, Oregon area mainly as an armored car courier and an international graphics company where I learned about screen printing, cut & printed vinyl through a mentorship program. As my wife's condition had worsened and not having insurance I moved our family to Germany and became a resident and my spouse received emergency surgery and made a miraculous recovery. In 2000 I Joined the Army again as an Infantryman getting stationed at Ft. Stewart, Georgia. I had done 20 years in the Army throughout the years I have deployed with CJSOTF160 in Southern California, Joint Task Force 6 in Cuba, SFOR 8 In Bosnia-Herzegovina and three year long tours in Iraq.

In addition to the deployments I also had received official training as a Bradley Fighting Vehicle (BFV) Master Gunner with follow on training on the M2A3 BFV Master Gunner course, Combat Lifesaver Course, Drill Sergeant course, Combatives Instructor Course, Master Driver course, Faculty Instructor Development course, Earned the Expert Infantryman's badge in 1993 and Combat Infantryman's badge in 2003 when I was stationed with 1st Battalion 22nd Infantry Regiment (Regulars by God) on my 1st combat tour in Iraq. On my second tour in Iraq, I was promoted to Sergeant First Class and moved from my Squad/kill team leader position to the Battalion Battle Captain for our Tactical Operation Center. While in this position it was my duty to brief all outgoing patrols, monitor passage of lines, airspace deconfliction, issue task and purpose for all attack aviation. Throughout each evening I created the commander's update brief which later became the Battalion Update Brief ( BUB ) which became the standard for the Brigade and Division and possibly higher.

This BUB became the process which paints a picture of our battle space allowing our commanders to make the best possible decision making process. Through training and later as a Drill Sergeant, Brigade Senior Drill Sergeant and First Sergeant all my training made me a Brigade and Division Master Gunner responsible for the in depth training of 30,000 soldiers on all weapon system platforms. This attention to detail is retained through our decals which are on many companies military equipment in several languages around the world.
